Most intervention goals sound like this: "The student will be able to add and subtract within 1,000" or "I can add and subtract within 1,000." That tells you what — but not where the student is starting from, where they're headed, or how you'll know they got there.

In this free 60-minute session, you'll learn the Progression Goal Builder — a 5-step framework for writing math learning goals that live inside a real skill progression, not just on a standard page. This is NCTM Teaching Practice 1 in action.

- A draft Progression-Based Goal for a concept you'll teach this fall

- The Goal Clarity Audit — a 7-question tool to pressure-test any learning goal

- A 15-minute task to complete before Workshop 3

Whether you have years of intervention data or this is your first year teaching (or you're switching grade levels or content areas), this session works for you — every step includes a path for working hypothetically when you don't have a roster yet.
