In preparation for our discussion, think about the following:
What makes the SOC burnout unique on the security team? What are they facing that’s different?
What’s wrong with the environment?
What are SOC employees’ complaints?
What would give them some relief?
What DON’T SOC analysts want to do anymore?
What do these new employees want now that wasn’t desired in the past?
There’s this weird combination of almost everything is unimportant until those few times you see something that is important. How do you reduce false positives?
What about the construct of the SOC? Do we need these levels of the SOC? Is it really necessary or a hold over?
It all starts at 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific. At the end of the hour [2 PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific] we'll switch gears to our meetup where everyone will get a chance to chat face to face.
