Violinist Jacob Schafer, cellist Patricia Ryan, and pianist Jeong-Eun Lee formed Trio Zenia, making their debut in March 2023 at the University of Texas San Antonio. With degrees from prestigious institutions like Rice University, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Eastman School of Music, University of Southern California, and Yale University, they bring extensive collaborative experience to their performances. Jacob, based in Houston, TX, is a core member of Loop38 and Kinetic Ensemble. Patricia, formerly with the Artaria String Quartet in the Twin Cities, is also a core member of the 10th Wave Chamber Music Collective, Kinetic Ensemble, and Delphia Cello Quartet, and hosts the podcast Haydn Behind the Music Stand. Jeong-Eun serves as an Assistant Professor of Collaborative Piano at UTSA and performs widely across Texas.
