10 Tech Myths Skillcrush Shattered in Its First 10 Years
By Skillcrush
There are many things to celebrate as we close out the year: countdown to 2023, holiday festivities, and Skillcrush’s tenth birthday!
[ pops virtual party popper] 🎉
I could probably drown you in emails full of ALL the reasons why I’m excited about this milestone, or how unbelievably proud I am that even a decade later, students from all backgrounds CONTINUE to debunk tech’s most entrenched myths around who gets to work in tech.
In total, Skillcrush has introduced coding to over 300,000 people! A round of applause for everyone who has come through our virtual doors. There's a lot to celebrate! 😉
So, for our 10th-year anniversary, we’re throwing a virtual party to celebrate and share stories about how we’ve intentionally redefined what it means to “break into tech.” And I’ve harangued one of our team members, Jordan Clark, to host:
10 Tech Myths Skillcrush Shattered in Its First 10 Years
Hosted by Skillcrush Integrated Marketer, Jordan Clark
As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a coding school, which is why we’ve tapped a few members of our community to join the discussion with their keen perspectives of the tech industry over the last decade, and how Skillcrush quite literally CRUSHED it!
In this webinar (ahem, virtual partayyy), you’ll hear from: :
- Jeni Williams, Software Engineer at Walmart Global Tech and Skillcrush Alum
- Ann Cascarano, Lead Development Instructor at Skillcrush
- Noel Arzola, Front End Developer at Skillcrush & Alumni
We’ve gone all out to celebrate how the field is no longer just for the Sheldon Coopers, and we'll dive into topics, like:
- How has employer sentiment on coding bootcamps changed over the years?
- Which tech myths continue to prevail? Is there any truth to them?
- And how our community WORKS and gets students into tech!
No need to get us a present, but I certainly would be thrilled for you to join us!
Get the virtual confetti ready and register today!
