We’ve heard your feedback: you want to be able to join Crowdcast events through any device, desktop or mobile. Our answer? Ask and you shall receive. 🙏🏼
We’re excited to announce the launch of the Crowdcast iOS app so your audience can join a live event or watch replays on iOS just like they can in a browser or on Android devices. In fact, we secretly released the app a few months ago and have been testing it to make sure it’s the same easy, beautiful experience on mobile as it is on desktop. To check it out, download the app here.
Here are just of a few of the things you can do through the app:
- Watch an event
- Engage through chat, Q&A, and polls
- Browse your replays
With the iOS app you can chat, vote in polls, and submit or upvote questions.
Don’t worry. This doesn’t mean you need to download the app to register for an event. Attendees on iOS devices can still register in Safari but they will be prompted to download the app once they’ve joined the event.
Right now the app only lets you attend events, but stay tuned because we’re working on an updated version to let you host events through your iOS device so you can go live from anywhere.
