Crowdcast Stands Against Racism

Dear community,

At crowdcast, our mission has always been to bring people – all people – together in a safe space.

We stand in solidarity with the Black community. We stand against inequality, racism, and discrimination. We stand against the systemic racism and oppression prevalent in the US.

For every injustice caught on camera, there are thousands more that are swept under the rug and go untold. We believe none of us are free until all of us are free and we will continue to fight for and support communities of color.

We have always been proud to host many Black and POC-led channels and we intend to continue doing so into the future. You have supported us and now it is time for us to support you.

To start, we have made donations to several Black-led organizations working on the frontlines to fight injustice. We will have internal conversations to ensure that crowdcast is a safe-space for Black bodies and voices. And, effective today, we are re-activating our Equality Program to provide resources for organizations fighting against racism and injustice. This is not a time to be silent. We hope other companies, particularly tech companies, join us in taking meaningful action towards systemic change.

To our Black friends, family, colleagues, & creators who for so many years have gone unheard: we hear you, we see you, and we stand with you.
